Testing the WebCD Viewer Image
Using the Test WebCD Image option from the File menu
1 | Build your WebCD Image, choosing Hard Disk as the destination. (See Building the WebCD Viewer Image for more information.) |
2 | Select Test WebCD Image from the File menu. The WebCD Viewer image is run just as your user would see it. The only difference is, for your convenience, the desktop icon is not created and the WebCD Viewer Program Folder is not created. (See Installing the WebCD Viewer for more information about what is installed on the user's desktop when they run the WebCD Viewer setup program.) |
Using the Test WebCD Image icon in the WebCD Packager Program Folder
.á. á.\WebCD Packager\Projects\project-dir\Image\Program\
where project-dir is the directory containing your WebCD Packager project (usually the same as
your project name).
The WebCD Viewer image is run just as your user would see it. The only
difference is, for your convenience, the desktop icon is not created and the WebCD
Viewer Program Folder is not created. (See Installing the WebCD Viewer for more information about what is installed on the userÆs desktop when they run the WebCD Viewer setup program.)

With or without the WebCD Packager application running, double-click the Test
WebCD Image icon in the WebCD Packager Program Folder.

Find the webcd.wvw file. It is located in the Program subfolder of your WebCD Image folder. The WebCD Image folder is the folder
into which you built your WebCD Image (specified on the Build Wizard: Destination Dialog). Usually this location is
